A Day in the Life: Senior Account Director Jess Levensonby Mondo on May 6, 2015
I started at the very bottom of the Mondo totem pole, back in the ISAM days. After a bit of a rocky start as an ISAM and when I was a more junior Account Director, I pushed through and FINALLY closed my first deal…which then promptly kicked out.
What did this teach me? You have to keep fighting for something, even when you think it’s done, and always be looking for what’s next. Knowing that I am controlling my own success at Mondo is what drives me to try and do my best every day. If I settle for mediocrity, the only person I am hurting is myself. By giving it my all every day – from pounding the phones before pipe, pushing and educating my hiring managers when trying to close a deal, to sending follow up emails after 6pm – I know I am using the tools Mondo gave me to ensure success.
One of the things I love about Mondo is that the sky is the limit here! I have seen so many of my peers and mentors here grow from the roles they had when I started here last January. I have seen Account Directors become Technical Recruiters, Team Leads, Managers, Digital Engagement Managers – if you want something at Mondo, and you fight to get it, you will see the impact. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to launch my career!
A little bit about me outside of Mondo: I’m from West Orange, NJ, but am a Boston sports fan through and through. In my free time, I like to go to concerts and Broadway shows, and I LOVE cooking and entertaining friends. I host 25-30 person dinner parties at my apartment about twice a month!
