A Cognos Analyst typically has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, but there are a growing number of Business and Finance graduates who are choosing to take certification classes in Cognos systems in order to qualify for these jobs. In many companies, a diverse background of experiences is desired for Cognos Analyst teams in order to ensure that someone has direct experience with every issue that may arise.
